The beginning

As long as can be recalled oppression hath governed man, for no living thing doth exist without meeting a struggle; and it was from oppression that the tools of war were first devised. For even Sin delivered his whispers of fire and deceit only after man didst smite their brethren; as war plagued the land, men fought only for the pleasure of their own desires. The moralities of any man art only revealed in the fire of combat; perhaps this hatred t'was that which conceived the enemy. And so it came to pass that the Lord of Dragons came forth and smote all before him, even as man made war, and such was his power that none could withstand him.

Many fought and died against the might of Sin, and more still were smitten as they fled; Yet one warrior took his sword against the dragon, a man of battle who hadst sewn much sorrow, and upon that place called Kelmir's Eye he cried unto the Heavens and the Light, pleading for the mercy of his fellows at the expense of his own soul. So great was his sorrow that his heart hath changed utterly, and the Father was moved; just then an angel made itself known and spake unto him saying: Atlas, thy heart hath appealed unto thy Father and thy prayer hath been heard, therefore strength shalt be granted ye. Beware, ifsoever ye kill but one innocent with thy strength, thou wilt surely become cursed.

After the angel had spake, Atlas took the very same form of his enemy and he returned to the battle, yet such was the power of Sin, that no victor would arise betwixt the pair. Many times did they contest, yet the destruction of one n'ere came to pass. So began the search for a solution for the evil, and thus the magic of runes were brought about, joining the remaining human and dwarven forces. A specific rune was fashioned to bind the evil of Sin, causing the victim to grow disorientated while a barrier forms around the rune, anything caught within that barrier would be sealed.

It was Atlas that lured Sin to what is now called Dragon Valley and initiated the rune, however, the power of the device was so great that Atlas also was smitten with confusion. While Sin's body was yet engulfed by the seal Atlas didst make escape, but his mind was dazed as he slain his innocent brethren having perceived them as enemies. As promised Atlas was judged and received a curse, suffering to maintain the weight of the world upon his shoulders. So it came to pass that the sealed stone of Sin was hidden away, though it is said his Spirit lingers still, seeking escape and corrupting the minds of others to end his entrapment.

Thus guard thy hearts, children, for thou canst not conceive the inner evils that men doth commit; for many are the influences of the enemy, and the touch of Sin dost not wane. Therefore cry thou unto the Light, commanding a true heart and thou shalt be preserved; yet should ye fall into the web of deceit know ye not thou art mortal and must pass into death?

You Must Choose your Side From the beginning! This will ultimately sway your game play however both sides have been balanced.

MinecraftLegends is all about originality and attempting to take the sandbox that is Minecraft and break all of its limits with style. We have a dedicated Staff that constantly monitor and update as well as a very friendly and sociable community for a pvp server.
Allow me to take you through most of the big cornerstones of the server


Classes/Clans/Skills

Because of the 1.0.1 Update our classes are down atm however Skills and Clans are still Alive and well. Clans include Werewolf,Vampire,Demon...etc while skills are a wide variety of hidden runes and seals. Each Clan has its ups and downs and each skill has been researched in order to keep everything within reason.

Factions

Anyone may create a Faction. In fact we encourage everyone to do so in order to protect the land they wish to own. Nothing is permanent however, any faction may come and fight for your land. This creates a whole new factor when building and you'll most definitely want to keep those special builds safe. Bigger factions have a better chance at survival.

The RolePlay

Not all players are a fan of RolePlay. So this aspect is completely optional~ but, you will most definitely miss out if you decide to do so. We've spent about a month hiding artifacts, creating builds, and working on server mechanics to make everything move smoothly and work seamlessly.

Extras

Those that choose to mod using the famous Xray/Fly or any game-breaking mods will be banned on the spot. (Our admins sport Our own personal Xray/NoCheat/LogBlock and player instant freeze. If your modding, we'll catch you~ End of story)

There is blood on the server, so don't be alarmed when a zombie bites on your arm and you see blood spewing out~ Its just blood.

On this server GOLD IS MONEY, when you mine gold~ You just found yourself money. There is physical trade system/gui and a bank system. The most common find will be gold nuggets via treasure chests.

Maturity level is welcomed but not required~ Just have some fun.
