Hey TTG i was wondering which of these laptops is a better buy. A Macbook Pro $1299, or a HP Netbook $300.
Do any of ya'll have any of these or know if they are any good?

Depends what you will be using it for. If it is for school, I would go with the HP. MacBooks are more for entertainment, not business.

Go for the Mac. I use to have a Netbook, it's terrible. You can't really go on site's like these without getting a virus from something stupid. And it's small which I didn't like..

I would say a MacBook is better, but if you want to hack stuff like your gMerscore or anything like that, you can't do it. If you want to hack stuff, go with the other laptop, even though you can get a lot of viruses on it

Yeah i want to get a Macbook ..but the price is ridiculous ....but i guess ..you get what you pay for.. and Macs are pretty good eh?

Macs aren't that good if you plan on gaming, and if you can spend that much for the mac why not get a new alien ware?

I plan on using it for school and entertainment ...not playing Games on tho...
