whats wrong with my computer (connection)? will REPPosted:

Basicly, i have wireless internet connection on my laptop, and i can use skype etc.. but when i try to open a browser it says i dont have connection blahh blahhh.
im currently on my mums laptop and the connection seems to work fine, my laptop dident work at my dads eiver. as i said i have internet access bcuz i can use skype and talk to people i just cant browse, something is blocking me.
My laptops on Windows 7. i used to have AVG but i uninstalled it thinking that was the problem but it was not.

It's got something to do with Skype. Had the same issue a while back but I fixed it.

Right click the wireless connection on the bottom right and go to:
Open Network and sharing center>Change adapter settings>Right click your wireless device>properties>left Click on the one that says "IPv4">Then press the properties button.
Make sure they are both set to obtain automatically.
And restart you computer, and it should re-obtain a new IP, and i "Should" work.

Do you have steam running? I had a problem where steam was using most of my CPU and i couldn't connect to the internet.
My friend also had a problem with skype where it disconnected his internet a lot, try deleting skype?

you need to change the skype port for this go to tools > options > advanced > change the port to something else and tick the box or you have a dirty virus
