Topic MEGA-Rant

I would just like to start off by saying, not everyone is a bad poster, only some are.
I know some great posters like: Dj_Pon3, irTiffany, Scream, and the Staff to name a few of the many.

Part 1: Pointless Topics

When a new member of TTG comes on to the site their first instinct is to usually go post in the General Discussion. When they do this they create spam and useless topics such as:"how do I make click to view hidden content", "how do I use the controls when I make a new topic?", etc. They often come in and unknowingly break the rules. This could possibly be resolved by FORCING members to read the rules as soon as they sign up.
Members with more posts than me also make pointless topics, and some with less. They often make posts like "what is your favorite food", "how many hours a day do you spend on TTG", etc. I know this probably won't stop, but the staff does their best.

Part 2: Advertisement

It is often that advertisers come into General Discussion from other sites with high hopes that they will steal our members. Little do they know that 99% of the people on this site are faithful to it and will never leave. All they are doing is making spam throughout the General Discussion. I thank the staff for getting them off the site ASAP, sometimes they even close the topics before I can report them!
What really aggravates me about advertisement is when older members do it. They put in a link to "their new site they made", and BOOM, they are also guilty of this crime. The staff does a good job about sending them warnings to not do it again. Most learn, others do not.

Part 3: Inappropraite Content in Avatars, Sigs, and Posts

When I see these people I just facepalm. Why would you need adult content on TTG? It is just pure ignorance. This also applies to bypassing the spam filter. Why do you need to use curse words in your posts? It is not something to get that mad about. Just ignore what bugs you and move on, or posts in a more pleasant manner.

Part 4: Hating on Staff

The people who get mad and "hate on" the staff are idiots. They have no idea what the staff deals with to ensure this site does not go under. They don't get paid for this, it is out of the goodness of their heart that they run this site and deal with the garbage from their haters.
Just because you got a warning does not mean ou have to fuss about it. Odds are you were breaking the rules. Either on purpose or on accident, it is still warning you deserve. I admit, I have had a few warnings, but I do not go hate on the staff about it. I deal with it and move on. It's that simple.

Part 5: Gold Beggers

When I see someone post a topic saying "gold please, will rep and love you for life" I think to myself, why? Why would they even want to post this? Do they honestly believe begging for gold membership will get them it. Well I have news for them, someone will not spend $5.97 on a dumb leecher who just wants to "look cool" with a gold member badge and a colored name.
I earned my gold the hard way. By making useful posts and not spamming. They ask "what is a good way to ge gold?", and I tell them that exactly. I don't even have 1,000 posts beacause I NEVER post spam and try my best to obey all of the site rules.

Part 6: Deaths and Prayer Topics

When a family member is lost, you mourn and pray for that individual. It is not needed on a tech site however. These topics are always closed because there is nothing that people over the web can do for that family member. It is O.K. if you post it on Facebook or something else, where people actually KNOW you. Don't get me wrong, I would be devastated if I lost a family member, don't go out and call me or the staff HEARTLESS though, because it is there job to clean the spam up. As I said before, there is nothing they can do to help.

I apologize if there is another rant similar to this when it gets posted, but I felt I needed to share this with the community.
All I see now is garbage circulating through the site, and it drives me nuts!
