I need help doing system link with my jtag and xdk will rep and what's wrong is one doesn't sense the other

Title update.

Just get the latest game update for both consoles and put them on them.

I'm not sure if it will be compatible with a XDK as sometimes they don't boot retail xex's.

I have that on reach and they both play the xex just don't sense each other
