I'm no computer expert but I'm up for the challenge of building my own desktop. I know what I need, I just don't know the power ratio between the two. I'm looking for it to play games online so I need a good graphics card and of course, for the internet! I'm very open on the budget but preferably between $500 and $1,000. Anyone have any recommendations or there own personal setup?
Thanks, deltacom4

I paid 400 for my custom made computer which i think is around 700-800$, It runs all games Highest graphics fine . I don't know a lot about the components but my friend always says that your computer is only as good as its worst part. So make sure that everything you are buying is at least around the same spec otherwise its pointless.

To be honest if you do not know much about computers I do not reccomend building it. You will most likely plug something in the wrong port, etc. which can fry your computer.

You also need about 7 different parts. Don't talk shit unless you can back yourself up.

I think i know that, also I wasn't talking shit, as I said nothing to insult you. I was just stating the fact that it is not hard to build your own computer because I know from experience

Me too, it is not that hard. But like he said he is no computer expert. It is hard putting all the wires in each place. But you know what I dont even care anymore, try and build a desktop
