My Xbox has an issue that I am not sure about. It seems that the video has just stopped working. No audio problems and no 4 flashing lights that would cause me to think it was a a/v cable. Not to mention that I have tried a new cable and i get the same problem. So the only probelm is video, if any one has any ideas or knows someone that has fixed this problem please let me know...

Ok so a little more detail...
When I turn my xbox on I can hear the main screen load up but can not see the video.
I have tried different inputs on my TV that I know work. So I know that my TV is ok.
I had my brother-in-law bring his xbox over to try different combinations out. All of of the cables, and power bricks work fine. He even has a brand new composite cable that had never been hooked up. The only commen problem I can find is that my XBox will not display video. Regardless of which method I use to connect to my tv.
I found a reset trick on youtube that says to hold 'Y' and 'RT', but that didnt work either.

Here it does require you to take apart your console so if your console is still under warranty I would suggest just sending it in for a new one, but if it is not give this a try:
This is part one, here is the directions in the description:
if you have any questions message me. This happened before so i knew how to fix it. not very hard. i decided to make this video because when i had this problem i couldnt find a video to fix it.
here is what you need to do:
Take apart xbox360
strip down to motherboard
take off x-clamps
take out heatsinks
put thermal paste/heat compound on gpu and cpu
Put heatsinks back on using screws and washers or put xclamps back on if your cheap
plug in dvd drive and fan
put the fan on top of tall heatsink and dvd drive
plug in everything(you wont get shocked i tried it)
turn console on it should boot up normal with fan on
(if not, tighten screws holding heatsinks)
now leave console on for about 3 min.
turn console off
leave it sit for about 20 min. or when white heatsink gets cool
now it should work when u turn it on.
Also here is Part 2:
Hope this helps.
+Rep if you can offord it. Thanks.
