i have made an animated Photoshop image that i wanna make as my avatar for here.... what should i save it as?

Dont save it.
Delete it cause its animated.

Go on File and click save for web

Make a account on Photobucket, upload it to that and then go to your profile and copy and paste the URL onto your avatar
