Hey this is rulerface and here is a very simple tutorial for modding splitscreen in MW2!
you dont need to take out patches or anything!

What you need:

1)USB drive with at least 2 MB of space

2)HexEditor Neo (free)(download below)

What it unlocks:

1)everything gun
2)every perk
3)every attachment
4)10th prestige
5)Every emblem
6)every callsign
7)all 10 classes
8)all kill streak rewards



What to do:

1)Go into your modern warfare game and go to multiplayer->splitscreen then click "create offline profile"

2)after that click the Playstation button and go to your "Save Data Utility(PS3)" and click on that

3) When in there find your mw2 offline profile. mine says "Modern Warfare 2" and underneath it says "offline Multiplayer Profile:g"

4)Ram the USB into your playstation

5)Press triangle on your offline profile save and click copy. when you click copy,select your USB drive. When copy is complete, Press O and take your USB out.

6)Ram the USB into your computer with HexEditor Neo already installed. (Its is free and download link is at top of page, under "you you need")

7)In your USB drive go into "PS3-->SAVEDATA" and in there should be your offline profile folder (Mine looks like BLUS30377-PROFILEMP-G)

8)When in your offline profile folder, Right click on 'MPDATA" and click "Edit with HDD Hex Editor Neo"

9)A weird screen with a lot of numbers and rows and columns should come up, dont get intimidated. Its not that bad

10)now, Highlight everything on that page EXCEPT for the first row of numbers. Everything below the first row is highlighted...BUT DONT HIGHLIGHT THE FIRST ROW!!

11) so now that everything BUT the first row is highlighted, go up to Edit and click "FILL"

12) A box should come up, type the number "46" (without with quotes,just the number)

13)go to file and click save or save all,doesn't matter

14)put usb into you're PS3 again and go into "Saved Data Utility" and delete your original "Modern Warfare 2 offline profile"

15)Be sure not to delete anything else

16)Go into your USB at the top of the list in "Saved Data Utility" and click on it. Find the offline profile inside the USB (which is now modded) and highlight it and press Triangle

17)Click "Copy" and if it asks to overwrite anything and stuff,click "yes"

18) Go into Modern Warfare to (the game)

19)Click Multiplayer-->Splitscreen and select your offline profile

20)A error message will come up. its ok. all you do is click ok and then click splitscreen again and click X(to sign in to splitscreen) but this time dont load a offline profile,It i already chosen for you

21)now start it up and you will go to where you set the game up. nothing looks differant

22)go to "Callsigns and killstreaks" and click on either emblems or callsigns and waalaa...you should be all set!


By now you should be all set. I have done this twice all ready and can comfirm it works. Any questions?
