I hate that in this country you have to be 21 to drink but you can be 18 and kill enemies for your country. Are you kidding me? I think that if you are 18 and in the military you should be able to drink. If you are deployed to fight, you are sure as hell able to handle a beer. What do you guys think?

For being new, this is actually a great question/topic. I definitely see your point, and I agree, but I don't think drinking is good for you, but if you're addicted to it why not?

My uncle is in the military and they let him smoke medical marijuana when not in battle

Well beer/wine is not allowed in the army anyway. But in a way, I still agree.

It does make sense, but then again you have to be 18 to drive in other countries and 16 here. So I would rather have it this way.

There 2 totally different things because look at it this way what if they changed it to 18 years old what would you see more of?Car crashes, accidents, and danger on the road its there for protection of citizens and you now with enlisting into the army, navy, airforce, etc you are fighting for your country and to protect other peoples rights you can't compare the 2.
