I'm going to be buying elite after school today. Is it seriously worth it? I mean in reality it does pay for itself with the dlc but is there anything else to it? I feel like the only times I'll ever even get to play the new maps is in the elite playlist which is kinda gay. So should I do it? OH and it's snowing all day. 20cm of snow and the walk to bestbuy is about 25 minutes..

If you plan on purchasing all of the DLC for Modern Warfare 3 then yes. You will save around £10/$15.
Being a Call of Duty: ELITE Premium member also means that if you are in a clan, you can participate in Clan Challenges and Operations where you can gain xp for yourself and your clan and new ELITE emblems. You can also participate in other challenges where you can unlock special ELITE emblems and even some real prizes.

I would say it is completely worth it.
With the DLC it pays for itself, like you said.
Plus there is all the bonuses included on the website and such.
There are clans and operations for MW3. With clans you can get double XP, titles and a gold clan tag.
It is also cool to look at the stats for other people and yourself if you enjoy that.
But the 25 minute walk in the snow, well that's up to you

It all depends if you have an XBox or a PS3 if you have Xbox then yes i would but if you have ps3 then i wouldn't
