I'm thinking of getting a Dell Inspirion 620MT, what games like MW2 and BF3, software like After Effects or Cubase could this run? Would it be fats enough?

That graphics card is outdated and bad. Just because it's 1 GB doesn't mean it's good. You might want to go with a 550Ti or above because you're going to have a lot of problems running the latest games.

Alright.
Well I'm certain it will run most games at a decent speed, the specs are similar to mine (though I have a slighty better graphics card, 8gb ram and i overclocked my cpu).

But you can't customise it, it's a Dell computer, can you reccomend a good place to buy a computer from?
