no.. He cannot charge back the money as it was sent as a gift, paypal returned the money to him.
he can infact charge back the money, ive had it done to me plently of times.all he has to do is phone up the bank and say unotherised transaction, or open a paypal case

Ok but he did not do this as i phoned up paypal and they said they themselves opened the case for investigation.
