I know but what i mean is

When it Says "Hold Down Power Button" Dont have your Iprodcut Plugged in Becuase your PC Is picking up the IProduct b4 it goes into DFU Mode

Than when it says
"Without Realising the power button, also hold down home" Thats when you plug it in and Do it from there

*NOTE Make sure your doing the steps when the iproduct isnt plugged in also!

Are you able to put it into DFU mode when it isn't plugged in? Because then you will know if it's something wrong with the computer/cable or the iPod itself.

hold power button for 3 seconds. without releasing it, hold power and home for 10 seconds. then release the power button only, continue to hold the home button for between 5-10 more seconds
