i recently opened my jtag and looked to see whats making my fan run at full speed and at first i didn't see anything but i looked again and found this little wire next to the fan that looks like it doesn't belong. i looked up where the jtag wires go just to be sure and i didn't see this. its a zephyr btw.

Yeah if its a little wire, that causes it to run at 12vs

Do not yank it out, use a soldering iron

Honestly you could just cut the wire with some scissors and it would void the 12v fan

Soldering iron would be the better method. Just touch it to the point and it should come off.

Good luck

thanks. just got it off with my soldering iron but the thing it was soldered to, i think it was called a mosfet, looked completely melted when i was done. turns out it was just what the person used when soldering.

why would you waste all that coin on liqud cool when you can just get another console and put your coolrunner it that one if you have problems with your console you have now?
