They're fantastic for dubstep. Any headphones will do that at high volumes, but it's something you want to avoid because it's bad for sound quality.

The XB700 is $80, but the XB500 actually has more/better bass than the XB700. The XB700 has better overall quality, though. Still, I was absolutely blown away by the XB700. If you're after bass, seriously, look no further. They're also extremely comfortable. The pads are like big pillows.

On amazon it says those are 160$. I'm talking American currency. Show me link to where the are just 80$?

Ahhhhh... They seem to be having supply issues. They appear to be backordered everywhere. When they come in stock on Amazon again (right now they're not showing the real listing, just a bunch of other ones that you need not pay attention to.), the XB500 will be $50 and the XB700 will be $80, like they were recently. I'm seeing some XB500s on Ebay for $80 refurbed, and if you need them now, it might be worth it. They're a deal in the first place, and I have no idea when the supply issues will be resolved. Some other good bassy headphones are the Creative Aurvana Live ($70), Panasonic HTF600 ($30), and the Monoprice 8323 ($20). The Monoprice and Panasonic cans will amaze you for $20 and $30 respectively. For the price, you'd never expect them to sound as good as they do!

Here's the Ebay link for the XB500. Scroll down a bit.

I think you'll find that rumble and vibration of the actual headphone body is not what you're after. If you want bass that will melt your insides, it's the movement of as much air as possible that will do that. More movement of air will make the headphones shake more, but also create more sound. If you've ever been to a major concert where electronic music was played, you've experienced it. The rattle of the speaker enclosure is not what you enjoyed. It's the bass, or disturbance of air, that made you nauseous. I'm not a huge basshead, but man, the front row at the fence was a fun place to be when the bassline dropped.

It is extremely popular and successful, so I highly doubt it. I'm confident they'll be back soon.
