Yes i remember when everyone use to play cod 4 cod 6 use to be good now its just shit.

COD will get worse as years go on, fact.

the reason is, not because the game is changing, because well it isnt other then maps, guns,perks,killstreaks grenades, and graphics. its the same exact game with some minor altercations. The reason everyone is saying COD4 and COD5 were the best COD's because thats when the majority first started to play FPS's and since you have been playing for 4+ years its getting old and stale.

tl;dr

its not the games getting worse, its the player base getting tired of Arcade stlye FPS.

I can disagree.

I think they have gotten progressively better. It seems like it's getting worse because a lot of people have been playing it for 3+ years and are getting bored. MW3 is a huge improvement off of games like WaW and CoD 4. For example the security in MW3 is great. Some people can't even get away with boosting. In something like CoD 5 there are mod menus everywhere. I know there were thermal lobbys but they did nothing. And there is a larger gun and equipment variety. Just because you have been getting bored of it doesn't mean that it's a bad game, it's just old.

That's my theory.

I'm pretty sure i would destroy you at any of the cods because I'm 10th in 4 5 6 I'm 9th in BO and i stop playing mw3 when i hit 80
