izTG wrote Well the reason I believe in God is because of all of the stuff that goes on in our body. For example there is a valve in a babies heart. And as soon as the baby takes a gasp of air the valve goes away. No please tell me how evolution causes a valve to just go away in a heart? And just the miracle of birth is amazing.

Evolution happened over millions of years. Maybe babies 1 million years ago didn't have this valve your on about. But the ones that did grew up to survive and reproduce passing the gene for that characteristic onto others.
And please tell me how god just does whatever he likes and supposedly created the universe. Cummon it takes a mature clever person to understand that god is simply a motivator. An old story that we used before scientists gained all the knowledge of life. It's just gone out of control and now religious ignorant people can easily come up with oppositions to the evidence. Of course they can argue it if they are arguing for a made up fairy tale story in which any thing is possible. Wake up!

I rid myself completely of religion, because I don't see the point in it. Why should we worship something that we have no proof of being real?

I do believe there is either a higher force, or intelligent life forms out there that put us here. Its no lie that we are continuously monitored by UFOs. We need air to breath. We were put onto a plant full of air. With plants that breath our CO2. Something put us here. Nothing to do with religion.

Ripe wrote I personally want to believe in God, but I can't. There is no valid proof and almost the entire Old Testament sounds like a children's book to me. I think too logical. I'm sorry if some people are offended, but I think religion was just an old theory of the Universe.

I agree with you, I pray everynight, but I always end up thinking... Who am I really praying to? It just seems too "un-real" but I geuss everyone has there own opinion

Personally, I think that religions and god are just ways for people to not go crazy in society. Our life has so many riddles and unanswerable questions that maybe some people made up God and answers for those questions, just so people would stop freaking out about them.

It's a hard topic to discuss.
I do believe in God, because I believe that the world didn't just appear out of nowere. If your going to quote this saying 'The Big Bang' how did all the particules and so on form? How did human beings evolve, and how come we are the only 'apparently' world with water at this moment of time.

How the universe was made, is a question we cannot comprehend. But as for evolution goes, one person has the new gene, like added height or something, and that person reproduces and hopefully there children have the gene and then they pass it to there children.

You say why doesn't he fix all the worlds issues, well he needs to see that we will stick by him through tough times just like in a relationship. I myself believe in God but I do not believe in religion but rather that it is a massive cult and that you do not need it to believe in God, nor do you need rules as God will judge you on how you live your life. It says in the bible thou shalt not wear things made from cotton by why would God put cotton material on the planet if it is not to be worn. This is wear the bible is flawed and why people are turning to Atheism. I believe that if there was no religion no war then the world would be a better place and we could focus on more important things such as cures for diseases and furthering our knowledge in the world such as time travel. If you do not agree with me I respect that as you are entitled to your own opinion.

I think you are right on alot of levels, one being others forcing religion. Right now I wish I could MAKE you believe God is real and is in you right now but I can't.
And about the proof part of religion: Faith with proof is no faith at all.
(I understand if this doesn't satisfy you)
