Unless Microsoft themselves state that this will be true, then it is just another rumor. If xboxmb said that the new one will play NES games, would you believe it? Because I don't and won't unless previously stated things become true....and Mario on the xbox would be pretty epic.

I doubt it, they would have an uproar on their hands by a lot of the gaming community as it would cause a huge inconvenience.
