I'm not a hardcore editor or anything just putting clips together and such. Is this good enough to run games like skyrim or battlefield?

The builder series Corsair PSUs are not the best, I would recommend an Corsair HX, Corsair VX, Corsair TX, or if you have the money, a corsair AX.

Other wise it's a good build!

I have that same set up but with a 6870 and kingston hyperX ram. Also I went with a 700w psu.
I've had it for about a month and I've had no problem running anything.

dude 16gb of ram is too much even if you are a hardcore gamer, unless you are running a mc server from your computer you don't need more than 8gb

How much more is the 6870 then the 6850? Is there a big performance difference?

I would recommend getting a 6950 or a GTX 560, You can get 560s for like 190
