Will I see a big performance increase with a 3GB/s HDD to a 6GB/s HDD (Boot times, application launch times, and data transfer)?

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

sata 3gb/s = 3gigaBITS/s transfer(which is in the 300megabytes/s area)
sata 6gb/s = 6gigaBITS/s transfer(which is in the 600megabytes/s area)

its the transfer time.

I would get a 6 gig because you have more space and it makes alot of things faster for you.

It amazes me how people post when they don't have any idea at all what they are talking about.
Yes you will see a difference if you use your computer a lot. 6GB/s is definitely worth it.

200% because 3 x 2 = 6gb/s

Yes, get the 6GB/s. Much faster and you will be happy you spent the cash for it.
