Intel is not the reason they are overpriced. They are overpriced because of the brand name and the fancy casing. Intel is about the same price as AMD exept Intel has a smaller selection which is why they cost more.

@EXP There's cheaper places to get it, I was just using G. Skill Ripjaws as an example of.....well I really have no clue.
