Recently, Jagex patched reflection bots which is what most of the major bots use to operate.

Realistically, I think Jagex have won - no body has managed to get a bot to work again.

RS has changed a lot and for the bad. It has gotten so much worse over the past few years, i wouldnt even consider playing it again.

no the bots did ruin the game but runescape drop a bot nuke so there is not as much bots on the game now and alot of players quit

Im sorry but I don't play Runescape. Haven't really taken an interest to it.

They used to be a pretty big problem, until a few months ago due to an update by Jagex. Jagex had tried in the past to end botting but most of the updates ultimately failed, but this one really killed 90% of bots. All the major botting websites closed down along with option to right click a character and report them instantly which scared a lot of people from bots. You can still find some that work but they aren't nearly as big of a deal as they used to be.
