This is like my second post and I'm ranting away already. >>

So, I'm so sick and tired, of seeing everyone around me, dressing, acting and even eating things just because they are popular or 'In Fashion'. I mean, sure, I wear up to date clothing, but just because I see some celebrity in some ridiculous looking pants, doesn't mean I'm going to buy them and wear them. I have friends, who will dress like complete fools, just to fit in... I mean, look at this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Like... Why are his joggers tucked in when he's wearing vans? And why are his socks so high...? My friends do things like this just because Justin Bieber does it... And don't even get me started on those hats >>
I even know people, who drink things like 'Monster Energy' when they don't even like the taste, they just drink it because everyone else does... And it really gets on my nerves...
Another thing is the phrases that people use, and how stupid they are... for example, in my area, the word 'YOLO' has just kicked in (You Only Live Once). So now, there's always groups of kids thinking they're something special, running around in big furry hats doing stupid things screaming YOLO... Why is this happening? -.-

/Rant, I'm getting annoyed just typing this out >.<

Well fair enough o.k rant, but id bet in different circumstances you would rant about people who are independent

Like grunger's, goths etc

All in all it's a two way street

Agreed. If I saw somebody wearing that, I would automatically judge them. I know it's bad, but they look so bad. You don't need to act like everybody else, but also not dress to weirdly.

There's a term for this. It's called "jumping on the bandwagon."

I don't see it too often, but the thing that annoys me about bandwagons is the people who avoid them completely.

For example: "Oh, the whole school is doing that? Screw that!"

IMO, people should do whatever they want to do. People shouldn't even pay attention to a bandwagon.

If YOU like it, do it.

Actually, I consider myself somewhat independent... I have relatively long hair, Just near my shoulder blades, I usually wear black and I listen to well, what some people would call Goth music... So I wouldn't rant against them... I don't care what people wear, as long as its what they want to wear or do, not what they think they should have to wear or do...

Yeah, I'm someone who hates followers and also hate people that judge. But if I see someone like that. I will judge right away.
