How To Make a Successful Montage Thread
Should This Be Stickied?
Step 1
Step 1. When you post your subject post something interesting like Appeal|MW2 Montage|Your Username's|2011. Right there is something that makes me want to check it out.
Step 2.
Step 2. When You Post Your Video(Embed) Make sure it's Good Quality and Have it Centered to Make it Easier to Read.
Step 3.
Step 3. Make a Hidden Section Like This(Click To Continue)
Click To Continue
Put in Some Things Like This Montage Was Edited By So On, The Programs You used, and the Making of the Montage.
Step 4.
Step 4. When you post a montage make sure to put a link to your youtube page so people can see other things you've done or to just so they can subscribe to you.
Step 5.
Step 5: Spell/grammar check all of your thread that's why TTG has a spell check box right under the typing box. Use it, it's there for a reason. Also make sure you don't type in all caps because just like I learned back in the day from TTG "Do not break the rules!"
Step 6.
Step 6. Keep control of your topic. When I go around seeing a topic getting flamed/spammed the thread tends to get closed and most the time it was a really good post. Anytime your thread is being spammed please let a Staff member know so they can go through and delete those posts. Never try to take care of it yourself cause trust me it will just lead to more spam.
Step 7.
Step 7: Stay on topic with your thread too. Going around in the "Introduce Yourself" forum and seeing a topic say, "10th lobby right now" is so annoying. That makes you look dumb when you do that and will tend to get you banned for spamming. So follow that and all TTG's rules.
