Ultimate Controller Mod Thread!

Info:
In this thread i am going to show you many controller mods that are up to date. The newest way to mod a controller is to use a programmed chip. Not some random wiring. We show you this method. Also LED swapping on the ROL. We are going to be incorporating LED thumbsticks too.

Table of Contents:
*Board Differential
*Supplies
*Taking Apart the Controller
*Rapid Fire(Cg/Cg2)
*Rapid Fire(Matrix)
*LED Swap
*LED Thumbsticks [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
*LED Guide Button [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
*LED Rumble Activated [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Board Differential:

Info on the boards:
You can tell the difference between the boards by the small capacitor in the bottom left hand corner of the controller board shown in the pictures.Matrix is the older type of board. Harder to mod To mod them you need resistors and everything. CG and CG2 are the same diagram for modding. They are wire and chip. No resistors making it easier. Also the different boards have different LED polarity.

Supplies:
You will be needing some supplies along this journey-->
-Torx T8 Security
-Soldering Iron
-Solder
-Flux(Optional)
-Mod Chip
-Controller
-Diagram
-Kynar Wire

Taking Apart the Controller:

Supplies Needed:
