It is quite a horrible idea if you expect massive detail.
There is an MMO that is highly advanced but the base game is 60 GB updates 20-30 GB and DLC's put it over 200 GB. It looks much like Skyrim and came out in 08. You would need an extremely expensive PC to run it and not that many people play it due to sys req's.

It will only be on the PC anyway if there is to be an Elderscrolls MMO.

Just to see what it looks like.
