Synopsis

FIFA Street (also known as FIFA Street 2012) is a forthcoming game in EA Sports' FIFA Street franchise based on street football. It will be the first such game in almost four years, and a reboot for the series. FIFA Street is being developed by some of the same team behind FIFA 12, including creative director Gary Paterson, and will use the FIFA 12 game engine. Sid Misra, the line producer for FIFA Street, promised "the first true quality street football experience."

After a good 2 days of playing the new FIFA Street because of the EA SPORTS Season Ticket. I am glad to be here reviewing this game for you guys!

Setting

Well the new Venues for this game are just simply fantastic, i mean who comes up with these places, you would never think of a bunch of guys doing some amazing tricks in a place like this.

Nevertheless this was great. Also all the different stadiums that are on this game is amazing, i mean there are alot of FIFA 12, but you dont really notice it as much as FIFA Street. In FIFA Street the detail is just brilliant, the way the locations colours have suited the country it is in. The stadiums range from a sports hall type place to an amazing view of the sea next to a beach, the imagination was crazy. Also how big the crowd was aswell, made you look twice as amazing when you pulled of the most amazing set of tricks that led to a goal. There is just so much going for this game its unreal. Overall an amazing setting for an amazing game.

Setting Rating:10/10

Gameplay

Well the gameplay was just so much better than the previous games, it is definitely the best FIFA Street game to come out. First off the skills. The skills were amazing there is just a mad amount of skills in this game and how they look when doing them is crazy. According to EA there are 50 never before seen skill moves and the new ball control system was really fun to use. Not only can you just stand there with the ball in a control overload planning what your next move is going to be, you can just simply pace off and panna them(or a nut-meg if your new to this kinda thing) this was great as it was a easy way to beat people and gain some easy points and it looked pretty sick doing it. Also it was really fun to do online just holding it there while im trying to have a drink and i can tell there raging as they have no chance of getting the ball before i make my next move. Next the game modes. Career Mode or World Tour. This is where you start off as a unknown team playing against friends, and building your way to the top, upgrading your pro and your team mates, making the team the best set of freestylers in the world. This was great as you could download your friends pro, so if you are familiar with them from FIFA 12 pro clubs, it feels like nothings changed and you can play the game alot more fluently. Also It's similar to ultimate team the way your create the team and abbreviation but with the unique style of making your own crest and making your own teams kits with your own choice of style, bringing a new level of customization to any FIFA game so far. Last Man Standing. This is where you start off with a team of 4 and when you score a goal you lose a player, whoever has the least amount or no players wins. Pretty fun, kept me playing for a while. Panna. This is where its not about the goals, its about the skills...but you have to score at the end of it. Basically you have to do skills and beat players to get a point and then score, if you panna you 3 points, air beat you get 2, normal beat you get one then you score to get the points however if they score you lose your banked points. 5-a-side. This is just a standard game, who ever scores the most wins, you can be as boring or creative as you like with the goals, but make sure you make them abit fancy. Head to Head seasons, Basically exactly the same as FIFA 12 so should be no problem for people familiar with it, if not it's just playing random people online, and whoever scores the most goals wins. They have brought the PRO to FIFA Street aswell, you can have the choice of having your pro from FIFA 12 aswell, this is great as you can customize your person alot better by making his arms/legs shorter or longer what build you want him. Also a whole bunch of new hairstyles and hats for him. Overall the gameplay was brilliant, my favorite game at the moment i loved it.

Gameplay Rating:9.5/10

Graphics

Well the graphics i must say were just too good! They were an improvement from FIFA 12 and a massive improvement from FIFA Street 3, where the people looked like cartoons. It took a more realistic look, and it looked perfect. The pros looked as real as the actual football players. I can tell alot of money and effort has gone into making graphics as good as these, and it really payed off, some of the best graphics i have ever seen and no bugs so far. Overall some really nice graphics and a perfect game.

Controls

The controls are quite challenging if your not new to fifa, as you wont really be too good with skills as such, or if you have had pervious games and are not good when it comes to skill then you dont need to worry, the games controls are pretty easy really, there may be alot of skills, and it may be hard to remember all of them but you can get out of most situations simply by Juggling(R1) or just a simple mash of the buttons will do you just fine. Overall some pretty creative controls from a creative game. Maybe too many skills for my liking but it didn't really bother me.

Controls Rating:9/10

Overall

Overall i have to say this game will have everyone playing it to the max when it comes out for people who haven't purchased EA SPORTS season ticket. Such a brilliant game so much imagination and effort gone into creating probably the best game of 2012.

I like your thoughts and good discription of the gameplay. I believe this game is kind of a one hit wonder in my opinion. It's a game that is fun to play for about a week, then I put it away. I would refer to someone this game, but to rent it. I believe it is not worth its price in all honesty. Fifa 12, is a game you want to keep on playing. I have read alot of Reviews on Fifa 12, and Fifa Street. Alot of people compare the two in different ways. When you get Fifa Street, it has more of it's "IM Never going to stop playing this game feeling" than Fifa 12. But, after a week or two in most peoples cases, that feeling wears off. Anyway, love the Review and keep up the good work.
