You earn points by renewing live, buying msp, add-ons, arcade games and stuff like that. You can also complete offers it tells you to do and you could earn msp.

You can also use Bing to earn some if I am not mistaken.

I take the surveys all the time and never get my points. It sucks. I am going to email them right now.

a survey is 20msp and you have to reach 100 before they payout to the account.
if you do other stuff they pay you more iv made 500 off them so far
