Everything has mass. A gamma ray has such a low mass that its barely worth stating it has mass.

Example- if a gamma ray had 0.000000000000000000001 mass its hardly worth saying it has mass... but clearly it does. Get what im saying.

(Note the number above is not the actual mass of a gamma ray...)

If something has no mass then it is literally nothing. A gamma ray is something so has mass.
