Just finished Tasogare Otome x Amnesia today after expecting a little bit of horror and was pretty disappointed. Was much more on the romantic comedy side than anything else, but did have it's creepy moments. Would have also possibly been a little sad had I never seen Angel Beats! or Clannad, but my sadness standards have been set way too high now. I know Evigishki has been trying to get me to write a review of a series and I keep saying I will but never doing one, but I'm kind of waiting on the next 10/10 show before I finally get around to it.. Hopefully that will be soon though, we'll see.

First time posting here, but I need a recommendation on what to watch next. Could someone be kind enough to look at my MAL account and suggest a show to me, based on what I've completed? I was thinking of watching either Steins;Gate, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or Neon Genesis Evangelion, but any show that is interesting/enjoyable is fine.
Here is my list, if anyone wants to take a look.

If you enjoyed both Mirai Nikki and Elfen Lied I'm positive you'd also very much enjoy Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni as well. It's one of my personal all time favorites. You might also want to look into the series Another, (that is it's name), since you'll probably enjoy that as well. If you're feeling adventurous, possibly even Corpse Party. Steins; Gate was also very good and another of my personal all time favorites.
If you enjoyed Toradora!, I could see you liking both Zero no Tsukaima and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo as well. I've seen both of those and enjoyed them. That's about all I can help you out with for the time being, I'm sure one or two of the other members can further help you out.
Almost overlooked one.. If you liked Clannad, you'd also probably enjoy Angel Beats!.

I'll check out Higurashi. Thanks for the help, though I still welcome suggestions from anyone else.

I just finished watching Maken-Ki and Kampfer.
These where two short and great animes. I for one personally enjoyed Kampfer the most. These two animes are fairly similar to one another. These are a must see if you liked Sikerei or however you spell it .

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - Comedy, Drama, Romance, School. While it isn't too good at the start when it starts getting serious at the half way point it turns into a great show. It gave of a clannad-esque feel, going down as one of my favorite school life shows of all time. 9/10
Higashi no Eden - Action, Comedy, Mystery, Drama, Romance, Sci-Fi. Great concept and great execution, not much else i can say on this one. It is extremely interesting and captures your interest throughout the duration of the show. If you decide to watch make sure to watch the 2 movies afterwards. 9/10
Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom - Action, Drama, Thriller, Seinen . While a little on the depressing side this show is very interesting and a breath of fresh air from most other shows that i have seen. I personally thought it was very good and a standout among many other shows i have seen. 9/10
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Action, Mecha, Sci-Fi, Military. This is simply one of the best mecha shows that i have ever seen. It has well developed characters, a great plot, great fight scenes and much more to offer to a viewer. I have to say that this is also one of the best gateways into the gundam universe. If you have an interest in Mecha i highly suggest this one. 9/10
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) - Action, Adventure, Shounen, Supernatural. JoJo has to be the best action anime that i have ever seen. With awesome fight scenes, An interesting plot and a westernized style that strays away from many other shows in the genre it offers an all around great viewing experience. 9/10
Take a look at my [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for some more shows

Just finished watching Kanon (2006) and I have to say it reminded me a bit of Clannad and I enjoyed it just as much but obviously pretty much nothing can come close to how much emotion Clannad has.

Ya, it seems like Japanese VA's put more emotion into VAing unlike a lot of English VA's.
I'm stilling crying on the inside and it's been 2 years!

Which one do I watch? Kanon 2006 or Kanon? I heard 2006 is better and follows the real story.
