Usually when people scam you, they use sneaky tricks.
If the person "hosting" the lobby is asking to pay them via pay pal and send the payment as a gift, It is a SCAM
When you send money as a gift, the person doesn't have to do anything for you legally.
If the person needs youtube subscribers, then the lobby is most of the time a scam, they want you to subscribe to look more powerful than they really are. They will not do anything for you, your just giving them subscriptions and there not going to give you anything (most of the time)
Microsoft points are sometimes real, but most of the time they are fake. They either want a membership or microsoft points to buy things. They don't have to do anything for you so they won't
Legit lobbies:
If you want a legit lobby and don't want to waste any money or subscribes then use one of the stickies on TTG
Unlucky_7 is my personal favorite, but you can choose whoever you like
Now I'm not saying that if your not stickied your not legit, Im saying that the stickies are trusted, and that you have a better chance of not getting scammed.
Thanks

^that. I always charge as a gift. Also, I usually accept MSP, I just kind of discourage it since I have 10k+ MSP on one account.
