So I'm having this problem, When I go to Update/Redownload etc... It will get To let's just say something like 75% and then it will Just freeze completely on me, Not won't close freeze Just doesn't get any further freeze on me.
Here's a picture of where it's just frozen on me again -.-

Here are the solutions I've tried:

  • Using a Different Internet connection
  • Deleting my Bin folder
  • Deleting just the Minecraft.jar
  • Deleting the various other .jars too
  • Using different accounts to log in (Hey, you never know ;D)
  • Deleting the .minecraft folder
  • Force Updating and normal updating

Any help or solutions anyone could give would be Greatly appreciated

Have you tried using an actual 1.2.4 minecraft.jar?

Because that might help. You will have to download it elsewhere though, as I cannot post links to it here.

This happened to me too.
I just deleted my .minecraft folder,
restarted my computer, Then ran Minecraft
again and I did a force update and it worked
for me.
