ODST wrote Grammatical skills easily place whoever you are in these forums. if someone uses "there" for "they are", they are probably really young (13 or 14) and need to get into an english class. People who actually read their sentences over, like me (16), know what to say when we are looking for a stronger word or just the plain correct word.

Dude, you're in high school right? You know those kids that NEVER shut the hell up and pay attention in class? Yeah, I can guarantee you they don't know basics. Like "you're to your" or "alot to a lot". They are common misconceptions that EVERYONE should have in their heads by now. So for younger kids I would understand as to why they have errors but when you're 16 and in high school you SHOULD have all that down by memory.
I'm should of also added I'm in honors, but whatever. You should really see the dipsh**s in my one regular class who's handwriting looks like that of a four year-olds.
My handwriting is kind of crappy as well. Compared to others mine is golden. But I honestly think handwriting is another story. Handwriting doesn't necessarily prove how good or bad you are with grammar.

I'm pretty much indifferent about people's grammar, but I can't stand the people who spell everything phonetically

Legs wrote Do you really want to know why? I for one am a concerned individual. I honestly have no hope for this generation. Spoiled kids that think they know everything and are just flat-out arrogant, and continue to run their mouths, yet can't even spell out a simple word. It hurts me. I see the silliest grammar mistakes on this site and it just irks me to see such stupidity. Case closed.

I don't think being spoiled has anything to do with grammar lol.

You don't, eh? Well, I have a proposition for you. Little kid throws temper tantrum about school, and has parents that will not discipline him, so instead of him going to school and learning, he gets it his way just to have him shut up. I know that was a terrible example but that is the best I could think of at the moment. But you will figure it out my friend. I have witnessed enough.
Like you had perfect grammar let kids be kids you were one to ya know

As a matter of fact, I was in 8th grade when I was twelve years old taking AP courses for high school credits. I did. Being smart comes easy to me, but I realized it was way simpler than that. These children just don't want to apply themselves. Sorry to say.
