I use tixati as a torrent client and usually demonoid for the files. i dont understand why they are only downloading at 5K/sec.

Any ideas?

Torrent speed is not measured by your D/L speed, it's measured by the number of seeders and how good their upload speed is. So the best you can do is try to find a better torrent with more seeders.

That speed has to be fake!

The upload speed is outrageous!

Doesn't mean it's fake, some universities have to have really good internet as they are providing it for a ton of people.

Fake? LOL. He goes to a university. Usually public places like government buildings and schools have really fast internet.
