I have both but PC wins. Macs are rare for viruses but cant run all the programs.
So I go with PC.

Macbook if you are looking for speed and ram. Windows if you are looking for a modding computer.

I'd go with the Mac.

I currently have a Dell Inspiron laptop and I don't like it, so I'm going to save up for Mac as well.

Are you kidding me? I was at futureshop and the laptop I bought that was $640 has 8GB of ram. There was a macbook for $2500 that had 6GB of ram and a worse processor...
