ello, I was given this xbox and its jtaggable but it has 3 red lights. But it doesn't show an error code the screen is just black, I don't get it. No error or anything. Any idea how to fix?

Try x-clamp fix. If that doesn't work (which it probably won't) get it reflown. This almost always fixes RROD, but sometimes it doesn't and that's where reballing comes in. But very few people know how to do that and the equipment involved is very expensive.

Problem have e79.
Which could be anything, Try fixing the Input for the A/v cable's or even X-Clamping.

danskeav wrote Known fixes:
1) Reflow the RAM
2) Loosen your heatsink screws and make sure the heatsink isnt shorting out a capacitor...3) Look for missing and bridged components like resisitors and caps and replace them4) X-Clamp replacement
