I just installed cyanogen mod 7 and my service is incredibly low in not at 0 bars. My brother said he knows how to fix it cause he had it happen to him before but he wont tell me how. Please help. +Rep for person who helps the most

If you got it from xda look for a different radio to flash.

What phone is it? Also, hopefully it's just reporting service wrong. In CM7, I believe you can change the way it displays signal from the normal bars to dB/m (Decibels per meter). It should be a big negative number, even if you're getting good service. You might also try making a couple calls and seeing if you actually have service.

And yes, a new radio might do the trick. But be very careful with radios, you can do some damage messing around with them. make sure you read up on it for whatever phone you have!
