Yes, that is all everyone can do. Copy and pasting can only go so far because if you don't understand what you are copying, than you can't do anything with it.
Yeah, I have noticed only me, you and tdk<(obviously) and a few other people know what to do with the material and have the knowledge to be productive.

This is why nothing should be released. Whether it be scripts, programs, or any type of knowledge that doesn't even have to be about modding. If people learn by them selves, then they will know what they are doing. This is why in this case, elitism and capitalism should have been implemented to ensure an intelligent and stable modding community.

Also, it doesn't make a difference what you release cause mostly all of the people that read it won't even know what to do with it.

Honestly that is a little selfish i doubt that you just decide to Modify a game and without any information or program you just are born with the ability to unzip a file and change stuff then magically re-compress it with it being the same size as before no one is born that way. were you born knowing how to eat food no you have to be taught.
Thats why there is schools and college for everyone to understand when they are doing.

I never said any of that. I was just stating a concept, whether I or anyone else believed in it, was not mentioned. Don't even mod the game so I don't care wth people think about me or my views. I wasn't saying that everything should just be concealed, just properly distributed.

Also, you don't even have to decompress and unzip the zip to mod it.

It's because you were, if you knew anything about the zip you would know that the zip is uncompressed and unencrypted so you can edit the files with a simple hex editor.

its called read a book and dont say u couldnt buy it u can go in almost every book store and sitdown and read

No but there is many on reverse engineering, also videos on how to hex edit (which is how netham figured out what the preload does). fyi You should always hex something that is unknown so you get get a view of it in its binary format.
