i can try to help, its been forever since ive used a dazzle but i had the same problem. but i need you to be more specific, is dropping frames the problem?

Restart comp. replug all cables in.

if dropped frames is the problem, try lowering the quality, from Best (if you have it at best) to better or good. your computer may not be able to handle recording at a higher quality

Oh are you using the program pinnacle studios that comes with the dazzle? if so change the quality from best (again if u have it at that) to better or good.

Take back the dazzle right now, They are complete garbage.
