where Is the best place to find a good sword, mace (one handed weapon)?

Any blacksmith shop, once you raise in level they offer better weapons and armor.

Getting them from merchants is where some enhanced ones are. But you need to make your speech and all the things you want on your weapon high to get good ones.

First get your speech maxed (you will find a vid on youtube on how to do this)

Secondly go to a merchant that has a wide selection of weapons to offer (usually khajit's)

Thirdly make an investement in their business, wait 24 hours

Finally go back to the merchant and he/she will have a wide variety of weapons

If you do the Thieves Guild questline you get a really good glass sword with a frost enchantment , I can't remember the name but it's a very good sword.

its called chillrend but you have to lockpick expert locks to get to it not hard if you know how
