i have an old xbox that i was hoping to Jtag , i had a look at the power connector on the back and mine is a jasper . But my xbox does not read disks . I have also taken it apart.
any advise ??

throw it out the window then go and jump on it 20 times then try putting xex menu on it

I reccomend just buying one if your unexperienced dont screw up a xbox. But first you have to do the reset glitch if your dash is to far updated.

If its a old spare Xbox you might aswell try and jtag it.
They can run without a working DVD drive.

Buy a new DvD Drive off Ebay, They're Rather cheap. Make sure you get the same series of dvd Drive as the one you have got in your console At the moment. Then Flash it so you can play backups?
And yeah, if your console hasn't got a dash of higher than 7371 you can jtag it.
if the dash is higher than 7371 and is lower that 14699, then you can easily RGH it.
