Disconnect the router and the modem for 30 seconds, If the problem consists I would suggest resetting your routers settings.

just manually restart it from your computer or if there's a verizon program reset it thought there and if not just run a diagnosis on your internet and if see what it says and if still nothing just turn off fir 30 seconds and turn it back on.

Networkfag here.

If you have Wireshark, give it a run to see what kind of traffic is incoming/outgoing on your server.

As for the 30 second unplug method, don't even bother. Unplug it for a good 2 minutes. Could be a ddos attack, piss anyone off lately? Any suspicions about DDOS you need to give your ISP a call. Definitely try rebooting the router.

Run>Cmd> ipconfig/flushdns

Try checking your router control panel too - ports in/out etc.

Oh and, use a VPN connection for your Xbox. Prevents any type of attack at all, especially DDOS.

if you had your own nat settings for your xbox then when your router restarted it might have made it jump from your xbox to your computer connection so you might want to check that
