It took me a while to piece all this info together so I hope it helps someone

To start off I have a Beklin Wireless router , but im sure it works for all beklin routers

first get the ip address of your console i was using a xbox so mine was 192.168.3.
The gateway ip is 192.168.2.1 type this into your web browser and it will show you this webpage:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

From there you should scroll down and notice at a submenu called UnnP if this is disabled; enable it and restart your router.

If your nat is still strict, we will now open up ports in the Virtual Servers tab to the left hand side of the page one below firewall

It will then ask for a password, if you have not assigned one then click "submit"

It will then bring you to a page that looks like this : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

From here enter the following:

Click enable, Under Inbound Port type 88 then, Type is UDP then Private Ip is 3 (for xbox) and Outbound port is 88

Click enable, Under Inbound Port Type 3074, Type is UDP then Private IP is 3 and Outbound Port is 3074

Click enable, Under Inbound Port Type 3074 Type is TCP then Private ip is 3 and Outbound Port is 3074

If your nat is STILL strict, then we must put it in a DMZ.

But before we mess about with DMZ we must disable the UnnP settings as they stop the DMZ working.

Now go back and disable the UnnP setting.

A DMZ is putting something outside the network firewall, (DO NOT TRY THIS WITH A COMPUTER)

But forget the terms ect. Simply go back to the grey side bar and in the firewall section it should say DMZ click it and this page should come up : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

from here enter 3 as the private ip and therefor placeing your xbox outside the firewall range.

Now if your nat isn't open then either i've messed up or something.
