The best way i can find to get in:

(This will not always work) look at the friends list of the person hosting it. If they have friends (they may not) go to that persons XBL account. go to their friends list, and you can choose the name of the host from it. This is much faster than private message joining.


If they do not have friends on their list, or it is blocked, do a private message join, but instead of hitting "join session" right when it appears, leave it on the screen, and wait until it says *joinable* at the bottom, the second it says this you press join session, and will many times get in very quickly, as other people will be going back and forth and not be able to press join instantly.
