The following information, claiming to reveal the game's release date and a load of multiplayer features, was first posted on the official Black Ops forums in a thread that was later taken down, and its cached version is unavailable. It was then reposted in another thread on Activision's forums, which was also killed off by the publisher.
None of this information is confirmed, but there's no reason it couldn't be genuine as it all sounds feasible.

Still far from confirmed, new reports and a leaked promotional poster have suggested publisher Activision will unveil COD: Black Ops 2 on May 2nd
Following much speculation of the upcoming addition to the Call of Duty gaming franchise, a newly leaked promotional image has sparked further reports of an upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release.
Landing courtesy of a retail source the teaser poster for an unnamed Call of Duty game has offered May 2nd up for a potential reveal of the next addition to the globally dominant Call of Duty series that has seen the arrival of Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 in recent ears.
Announcing simply Return for debriefing, the leaked promo image has sparked a new wave of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 rumours suggesting the upcoming Treyarch developed Call of Duty release will follow on directly from the 2010 released COD: Black Ops.
Whilst publisher Activision has opted not to comment on the outed image, the prematurely revealed poster is far from the first time a claimed Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release has been leaked with developer CVs and a number of reports previously hinting at a new COD sub-franchise.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Rumours
This year, Call of Duty will return with its ninth instalment with Black Ops 2, a recently leaked posting on the official Black Ops forum said before being hastily pulled by Activision. It added: As expected it will be following Treyarch's previous game Black Ops. Its release date is set for the 6th of November.
Offering further insight in to the Black Ops follow-on the claimed reports have suggested Black Ops 2 will see Treyarch and Activision introduce an all game mode dubbed Escort which will feature alongside the return of the Drop Zone and Kill Confirmed offerings.
Describing the new gaming mode the leaked details have outed the Escort features as: A new game mode similar to Search and Destroy however a live player must be escorted to one of three areas (or two depending on the map) without being killed. The match will have rounds, consisting of one life only.
Are you excited about the increasingly likely imminent unveiling of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 or has your interest and admiration for the FPS franchise waned in recent years? Let us know via the T3 Twitter and Facebook feeds.
