My Mind Has Been Blown Beyond Cod4 The Cods Are Not Named Cod5-Cod8 On Their Covers So Couldn't This Mean That Cod 5 Is Still Been Worked On For Years And The Others Are Just Cover Ups

I have been thinking about that too, but cod 4 and up are all related, something like grand theft auto because if you read the intel in black ops, it said that Alex Mason was killed by a SaS soldier by the name of John Price. With that said, they are all connected because we see the events reznov did in waw and how he helped mason in black ops that made mason go crazy and was ordered to be killed, those are the leading events to cod 4 in which price makes soap to do this, price dies, he comes back in mw2 and kills makarov in mw3. The Treyarch versions of cod from waw up are just back storiess leading up to cod 4. Cod 5 may come next year because the modern warfare story has ended and we need to finish the story from the end of Black Ops.

Interesting. I hope so because i personally don't like the CoD games since MW2. If a CoD5 returned and was kept basic i would be happy.

I think that they figured that there was no longer the need for a number to distinguish the game because they just included a description in the title.

Cod 5 - World at War
Cod 6 - Modern Warfare 2
Cod 7 - Black Ops
etc...

It is just easier to relate the title to the game rather than a number to it.

Wow That Could Make Sense If Black Ops 2 Is Comming Out This Year Maybe Its To Finish The Back story That Will Lead Into Cod 5
