It wouldn't be hard for them to patch. An easy way would be to make the /cfg directory be read from the "update.360". This would be a sloppy way of doing it but because the .cfg's are small usually under 4kb. I don't see the problem.
Or a whitelist would solve the problem ;)

Yea true but, we both know Valve is too lazy to do something like that. Let's hope so.

Yea true but, we both know Valve is too lazy to do something like that. Let's hope so.
Yes, last time they patched they set the whitelist so that it only checks UserSettings.
Maybe they hoped someone would figure out a bypass or something, probably not though.

You guys had it coming. That's why we didn't want to release it. Well, at least I can think in a few bypasses, time to work it out!

Crack and I already have one. Although we aren't getting our hopes up at the moment because we don't actually have the update yet and cannot do research into how they patched it.
