Near is not working (correctly) WiFi and 3G

You can get the MAC address by going to 192.168.0.1 or whichever IP is given by the router and logging in as the administrator. It's listed in the menus

Error code C4-8468-6, rear Vita Camera is not working.

Hey guys just thought I'd let you all know that I was having the same problem with my 3G vita, this morning I was planning on taking it back to hmv, so I deactivated the system, signed out, formatted the 16g memory card went into the format section in settings from there I choose restore the ps vita system option, after the system rebooted I checked the camera again just incase it was working before I took it back to hmv, and guess what the bloody camera was working fine lol So I signed back in to psn and entered all my settings again and the camera is still working fine. I don't actually think this is a hardware problem it seems like software based. On another note, I wasn't able to turn my vita off properly,it would just hang with a loading screen, I would then have to do a safe mode restart. Alas this problem has been rectified too.

PS Vita setup loop issue

We have been made aware that there is a process loop which you may get caught in when attempting to link your Sony Entertainment Network account to their PS Vita during the initial device set-up.

When you first use your PS Vita you will be asked if you have a SEN Account and, if you do, if you would like to use it on your PS Vita.

If the you select Use, you will be informed that a system software update is required before the account can be linked to the device. After selecting Ok, you will be taken back to the screen asking if you wish to use your SEN account on your PS Vita. This loop will repeat if you continue to choose to use your SEN account.

In order to proceed, you must Do Not Use instead of Use. This will allow you to set up you system for trial use and complete the initial set-up. You will then be able to view a short video before being promoted to update the system software and add your SEN account to your device.

PS Vita Randomly crashes during the game

Make sure you have the latest PS Vita firmware update installed. The PS Vita 1.67 firmware comes just over a week after the device was introduced in Japan and fixes an issue that affects some crash and loading problems. To get the latest firmware, you have 3 ways:
Download through your PC
Download via PS3
Download directly to PS Vita

PS Vita crashes upon turning on, Lagging, Unresponsive touchscreen

Do a device hard reset by holding the power button for 20 secs, then start up PS Vita. This can normally solve unresponsive touchscreen issues and some lag problems which are mainly possibly due to memory leaks, both onboard and on the external card.

PS Vita wont turn on

If a hard reset doesnt work, or if the PS Vita will not turn on or off, take out the batteries and PS Vita memory card, wait for 20-30 seconds then put them back in. Then turn on the PS Vita.

PS Vita has no sound / audio

PS Vita error when installing / setting up

Best possible solution at the moment is by keeping your firmware up to date. Otherwise, no other concrete fixes yet. Well post as soon as we get more info.
