By god... My friends and I literally had this conversation about a week ago.
You would go fall then on the other side you would fall again, and continually do that until you slow down and can't move.
In reality, of course you would just burn.

Ripe wrote Gravity isn't a set point, an object is attracted to any large object. You would get pulled to the side of that hole, not just float in the middle.
but the gravitational pull all around you would cause apparent weightlessness

what about the other side of the earth's gravity?
If you mean the Earth was a ring, then it wouldn't matter, if you mean you could circle around and through the hole, then it wouldn't make a difference.. In fact, the gravitational pull may be less cos the mass of the Earth would be lesser, thus you would have less gravity.
would the momentum of the first part of the gravity be enough to push you to the other side?
The momentum from jumping into the hole. Would that provide enough momentum to push you out the other side.

To find your velocity at the center...
Initial velocity = 0
Final velocity = ?
Acceleration = 9.8
Distance = 6356800
Then you could put it in the formula Vf2 = Vi2 + 2AD
Vf2 = 0 + 2(9.8)(6356800)
Vf2 = 124593280
Square that and...
11162.135996304649933773624863917
So half way you'd be moveing at about 11162m/s
To find out if you'd make it? I don't know.
Really though, you wouldn't come out the other side. As you come back, gravity would slow you to the point that you stop before the hole on the other side and you would continually go back and forth never stopping.
So you wouldn't come out, you'd be stuck in an oscillating pattern forever.
